Intricate and very sculptural crystalline "fishhook" gold from Mexico! As near as we can tell, this was purchased by the former owner and held for at least 30 years. It came with many smaller examples of the same habit, in a single Riker's box mount as often used for gemstones. This was by far the largest specimen in the lot. 5.92 grams. A HIGHLY UNUSUAL locality gold, and just plain fascinating in crystallography.
