This mesmerizing fluorite is dominated by dodecahedral faces with cube modifications. The absolutely striking thing about this fluorite crystal is that, in addition to it being completely gem and a dark mint green color, the purple axial zoning it displays in the orientation of the cube faces radiates from the center of the crystal to the edges like laser beams! A truly sensational fluorite crystal that measures 4.5 x 3.8 x 3.1 cm. It is complete and displays very well: contacted only on the very back where it was peeled in nature off the host silicified limestone matrix. I have seen many pieces from Dongpo, and few as aesthetic as this!
