Beautiful and elegant, this sharp thumbnail consists of a half-dozen spinel-twinned Silver crystals, forming an excellent, branched specimen. The luster and patina are incredibly metallic and the form is razor-sharp, making the aesthetics simple and top-notch, as the photos show. It stands on its own as a major USA silver thumbnail. It apparently came fro ma Sotheby's auction of the "Cook Collection" in 1975, according to the label.
