Over a dozen super-gemmy Calcites decorate this purple Fluorite. The Calcites, which have an orange fluorescence, have superb luster and are quite gemmy, and both these characteristics really enhance their golden color. The purple Fluorite actually has a yellow core. The luster is very good, and there are even small Pyrites adding a bit of interest to the piece. Complete all around 360 degrees, it is only contacted on the bottom. Collected in 1992, this piece has a charm all its own. It is as much like a "jewel" as you can wish for in a calcite specimen!
