This is a stunning gem crystal of euclase, not from Ouro Preto in Minas Gerais, but from Espirito Santo (I HAD NEVER HEARD OF ONE FROM HERE BEFORE!). It is transparent, lustrous, and exhibits a light, pastel, seafoam-blue color. There is minor edge wear on the left side, but the termination is absolutely pristine. Just Superb example from a surprising new find. I am told this was the best of them, and it certainly was tenfold better than others I did see. The color in the first photo is more accurate...it somehow shows more bluish in the other photo, an artefact.
