This is a very sharp cluster of Euclase from the Piaotang tin-tungsten mine in China, among the best in size class we have seen over years of sporadic production from small pockets. It consists of several lustrous, honey-yellow colored crystals to 2.5 cm that are gemmy and very bright, with very well defined faces and edges. The body of the crystals are translucent with the edges and termination of the more prominent crystal. The prism faces on the Euclase crystals exhibit fine growth striations and the pyramidal terminations have a bright, scintillating luster. The piece is accented by two, small water-clear Quartz crystals on one side for great composition.
