This specimen is a fine thumbnail size piece featuring a superb quality, sharp, gemmy, highly lustrous, prismatic, purple color "reverse" scepter crystal of Amethyst measuring 2.0 cm sitting atop white/colorless, modified rhombohedra of Calcite with underlain "Chlorite" on matrix. This piece is remarkable for Bolivia as it features a type of crystallization that is virtually unheard of from Bolivia.
