This specimen is a great small cabinet size piece consisting of super quality, sharp, gemmy, highly lustrous, prismatic, light purple color scepter, "reverse" scepter and simple prisms of Amethyst measuring up to 1.0 cm sitting atop white/colorless, modified rhombohedra of Calcite on matrix. This piece is remarkable for Bolivia as it is from an "Alpine-type" locality, and features a type of crystallization that is virtually unheard of from Bolivia. Ex. Brian Kosnar.
