This specimen is a great piece consisting of a super quality, sharp, gemmy, highly lustrous, prismatic, purple "reverse" scepter crystal of Amethyst measuring to 1.4 cm sitting atop white/colorless, sharp, lustrous, modified scalenohedra of Calcite on underlain forest-green color "Chlorite" on matrix. This piece is remarkable for Bolivia as it is from an "Alpine-type" locality, and features a type of crystallization that is virtually unheard of from Bolivia. This is one of the better pieces from the find for quality, aesthetics and overall appeal.
