This is a remarkable quartz specimen, all by itself - even without the little green gemmy "pencil" tourmaline which has grown on its face. This is a floater crystal, with a sharp, complete chisel edge all the way around. The little tourmaline measures 2 cm, and is actually embedded in the face of the quartz crystal - the quartz has grown partially around it. Ex. Richard Hauck Collection.
