Linnaeite is a rare cobalt sulfide (CoCo2S4), first found in Sweden and named after the famous botanist Carolus Linnaeus. This antique German specimen evidently passed though a couple of old German collections before ending up in the collection of Paul Jung, which is now being dispersed. It features several crystals of this very rare species to 6 mm in size, set in massive linnaeite and chalcopyrite. 5 x 4 x 2 cm
