A showy and rich kasolite specimen from the famous Musonoi Mine of Zaire. Kasolite is a RARE oxidation product of uraninite and this excellent specimen is nicely sprinkled with discrete crystals and clusters of radial, yellow-orange kasolite crystals to 3 mm on a sharply contrasting layered malachite matrix. Indeed, a colorful and striking visual specimen. These are classic for the species, hard to obtain today. Ex. Bob Byers collection.
