A lustrous, sharp, 1.3 cm, complex galena crystal nicely set on glassy quartz crystal matrix from Neudorf, Germany. This is CLASSIC, OLD-TIME material from a renowned location. This specimen is easily over 100 years old. Ex Joseph Rawlings and Seaman Museum Collections. Rawlings was born in 1826 and worked as engineer at the Cliff and Minnesota Mines. The Cliff closed in 1883!
