This exciting material is all gone now, having been sold off pretty quickly after it appeared on the market recently, at prices up to five figures for good large plates. What makes it so cool is that you have these transparent-to-translucent octahedrons of fluorite growing right on top of an earlier generation of purple fluorite. With this specimen, the first generation of crystals is not the usual purple, but a darker green - still providing the pretty contrast between the two generations of crystals. Often, the earlier generation with these (underneath) is not well crystallized, but the darker octahedrons underneath on this one are really well-formed. The green color is MUCH BETTER in person - the pics washed it out for some reason. 8.2 x 5.5 x 5.3 cm
