This is, to my knowledge, the largest and most significant specimen from a small find at the Shangbao that is now finished. Very few specimens ever came from this pocket. We had the bulk of them at Tucson and our source brought this one to Denver to finish the lot off with us. Calcites of this form had been seen before, but NOT on fluorite. Even the small specimens from this find were expensive from the Chinese, who valued them highly for this beautiful and previously unseen combination. This specimen features an IMMENSE calcite crystal; 14 cm in length and 10 cm across; along with other large crystals, with teal-blue fluorite. In one place, two fine crystals grow out from a central point in a "V" shape. 28 x 15 x 14 cm
