A STRIKING, large, 6.0 cm, highly lustrous, midnight-blue azurite crystal set in matrix with attendent, smaller crystals from Tsumeb. The large crystal faces are essentially pristine, while both ends are contacted by matrix. One of the smaller crystals is cleaved, but you really do not notice it. This is a hell of a huge azurite, with incredible pizzazz and showiness. It does have the contacts mentioned above, but nevertheless it displays like a banshee. Truly, its a dramatic and impressive piece in person. 9.4 x 7.5 x 7.5 cm
