A floater cluster of stacked spherical aggregates of azurite, like a blue snowman, this can sit either horizontally or stand vertically. It is a really unusual example of a Mexican azurite rose/ball because it is a cluster, and normally they are just singles. Complete all around, it is a floater. The color is a very open and lively blue, not too dark nor too light. The mine reported would be an unusual location for azurite of quality from Mexico, as well, for those who care about collecting by such metrics. It was brought out by Mexican dealer and specialist Dennis Beals, who should be considered accurate on the matter, and sold to Stoudt in 2013 for his Mexican suite.
