Exquisitely emplaced on rosettes of shimmering colorless calcite is a magnificent, doubly-terminated, twinned, glassy and gemmy, colorless calcite crystal measuring 5.7 cm in length. Honestly, it is worthy of the superlatives. This crystal is EXCEPTIONAL. It is exquisitely positioned and trimmed down from a larger specimen I bought in May of 2015 when this pocket came out. No more like it, have come since. To my knowledge, there were only a half dozen specimens of this caliber. Others were found, with some pinkish color but less gemminess and luster, later. As a bonus - the whole specimen glows a bright orange under fluorescent light. Superb in every way!
