One of my personal favorites in this update, this matrix cluster exhibits dramatic yet understated characteristics. The flesh colored feldspar matrix gives way to a cluster of glassy and gemmy, hematite included quartz crystals which have taken on a wonderful orange hue. The largest crystal measures 3.9 cm in length, and as far as I can tell, the specimen is pristine. Aesthetic, to say the least!
