We expect China to regularly produce new varieties of fluorite, after several decades of being shocked and awed by the mineral diversity there. However, it has been awhile since anything REALLY new came out. In early 2022, a surprise find hit the market, of these shocking yellow and glistening fluorite clusters perched on purple fluorite. We were lucky to obtain some at the start, before prices went crazy when the first batches came to America, and have held them back to ensure more of this quality were not coming (or, if there was a large pocket, also something to watch for and affect pricing). This is, like others here, a carefully selected piece for the quality and isolation of the translucent yellow fluorites.
