This large display plate is a sturdy specimen with color concentrated atop as displayed. The quartz crystals here have a slightly darker yellow-orange to amber color than most, with Halloysite included in a number of the prismatic Quartz crystals. The clear Quartz has the same fibrous inclusions but on the hexagonal body of the crystal instead of the terminations, so the color effect is not as strong. Some crystals exhibit a hoppered termination, ingrowths, which is unusual for this material and visually interesting as well. There are two crystals showing a unique, late stage sugary druze on the terminations that I haven't seen before from this locale. The piece is in good condition with minor bruising and some broken edge crystals (noted here and figured into the pricing despite the size and overall impact otherwise). The unusual darker inclusion coloring shows a slightly different variation of the Quartz found at the locale.
