A highly unusual, vertical cluster of multiple sizes and styles of intergrown Quartz. It has razor sharp sprays of needle and centimeter sized, yellow-orange Halloysite included Quartz crystals on matrix, around vertical larger crystals like an art composition. The hairlike inclusions within the terminations have varying saturation and coverage from crystal to crystal but overall the word to describe it would be "colorful"! The piece is visually dominated by the 2 largest, perfect crystals at the top of the vertical spray (7.8 cm and 5.6 cm). They form a cluster enveloping a knob of matrix, a cool aesthetic bonus during its formation. There is some peripheral edge damage to a few of the crystals on the side/edges, however these do not detract from the visual impact, as the eye goes up to a forest of Quartz crystals that are in excellent condition. You can just imagine the narrow vertical fracture that this piece formed in, making it a fairly unique vertical display piece that is a bit different from others here. The two habits of sizes really play against each other and gives this more visual impact.
