Oumjrane has produced the very unusual combination in which you find Azurite coating actual, well-formed Quartz crystals, as opposed to simply coating massive Quartz. I cannot recall Azurite over Quartz growths from anywhere else, certainly not in big size. Even more rare is to find the Azurite and Malachite clustered up by the terminations, like decorative blue and green pompoms. The largest Azurite/Malachite cluster is 4.7 cm, and the largest Quartz about 5.5 cm. The aesthetics of this interesting and uncommon small cabinet specimen are quite good, and I have only seen a few in this size of similar quality from all of Morocco, even searching through all of MINDAT photos.
