This is an excellent Indian Fluorapophyllite specimen that features a large cluster of 2.5 cm, pristine, upright, bright mint green crystals in a large, divergent group prominently displayed at the center of the piece. This classic style, combining luster like glass and a mint color, is from the older material of the late 1980s, really different from anything modern! The Apophyllite crystals have incredible glassy luster and display glistening internal reflections that just make these crystals glow and sparkle. To top it off, the the tips of all the Apophyllites are extremely gemmy and bright, and in great condition. The matrix is covered with finely crystalline Stilbite that looks as if it was dipped in sugar before the Apophyllites were added! The piece is nearly pristine with only a crystal missing from the center of the cluster that is barely noticeable, and it is reflected in a lower price although that is a technicality. Gorgeous contrast and great presentation! Ex. Jack Halpern collection.
