A highly unusual, flowing carpet of dense coverage of creamy green to bright pistachio-green mounded aggregates of Smithsonite on an elongated small cabinet piece from this noted locale. Overall, the specimen has a distinct silky luster with light dancing off all of the component Smithsonites - just a very unusual specimen! The two distinct aggregates in the middle of the specimen each measure around 3cm in maximum dimension with one standing above the other markedly. Great composition and balance with no damage, and contacting only on the bottom and the left side. An unusual habit for Smithsonite from this locality. This was in the Rob Smith collection purchased from Marshall Sussman in the early 2000's.
