This is a textbook, complete, pristine, 360-degree crystal of the very rare species Weloganite - of which the best come only from this location. Doubly-terminated, lustrous and translucent, this fine straw-yellow weloganite crystal clearly exhibits horizontal growth striations up and down, that add interest to the bizarre crystal habit itself. A fine, significant thumbnail example of this rare mineral. Found only in a few pockets, new finds have not been seen in decades.
