An aesthetic, barrel-shaped, hemisphere of highly lustrous, translucent, intergrown, green-yellow Adamite crystals from the famous Ojuela Mine Mexico that has produced the best-of-species for this mineral! These came out in the 1980s or previously. A nearly complete, single, bright yellow-green whorl or ball of Adamite to 3.9cm across dominates this miniature. It has the superb luster and greenish-yellow color that one would want from Ojuela, and it simply sparkles in every direction. It is associated with some ocherous Goethite for great contrast and is mostly complete with one contact on one "side" and minor contacting locally around the periphery. Sits well on its own for display. It has a brilliant neon green fluorescence! Ex. Dennis Mullane collection (one of the old-timers from the early days of Tucson show, and a Bisbee native). A classic, seldom seen today on the market with this style!
