A startlingly important and Fine cluster of Tetrahedrite crystals from the Musen District in Germany. This is an old classic that is almost never seen for sale - and the first good one I have had to handle, in fact. The tetragonal shape is classic for the species, of course, and the metallic luster is good to very good. The largest of the Tetrahedrite crystals is a substantial 3 cm on edge, and there are several smaller crystals nestled below. There is a trivial bit of edge wear, but that is not unexpected on a venerable old piece like this. The crystal size is huge, and the display impactful. The provenance of being in the collections of Dr. A. Krantz and the Bonn Mineral Museum attest to that. Better in person!
