This simply balanced specimen has a beauty beyond its size, for the clarity and gemminess of the crystal, and the subtle accents of associated galena and slight stepped growth. Splendent, metallic, octohedral galena crystals to 5 mm across act as a foil for glassy and gemmy, rich purple colored crystals of fluorite, which reach up to 2.5 cm across. Stark aesthetics, and color combined with gemminess, make this piece stand out. RCL1244. Mined 1984
