Intergrown, splendent, dark gray, BIXBYITE crystals, to 7 mm across, have formed into an aesthetic cluster. These are so sharp they look like New York magnetites! This superb example of its species from this locality was for decades in the personal thumbnail collection of (retired dealer Charlie Key, who certainly is in my book, the top dealer in African minerals in our lifetimes. I obtained this collection in 2008.
