SOLD
A fat, stout, intensely colored crystal that is classic of older finds from the Queen, probably from the early 1970s or prior. The crystal is short but has such intense coloration (when moderately backlit) that it really stands out. The colors grade from purple to an intense electric blue-green, and then back to purple. The termination is complete, though stepped in growth. It has a moderate luster, neither dull nor bright. This is old material, and crystals with such color saturation are hard to obtain today. Comes with custom lucite base: From the well-known tourmaline collection of Klaus Neumann. 81 grams.Joe Budd Photos
