Quartz, Sphalerite
Dal'negorsk (Dalnegorsk; Tetyukhe; Tjetjuche; Tetjuche), Primorskiy Kray, Far-Eastern Region, Russia
Cabinet, 9.5 x 7.5 x 6.5 cm
Super-gemmy, slender and elegant quartz crystals shoot out in all directions, interpenetrating a cluster of lustrous, euhedral sphalerite crystals. This is a knob that was sticking out into the pocket, exposed on all sides, and therefore covered with crystals all the way around! Very pretty! If you wish to display it with the sphalerites at the bottom, it looks like a quartz tree! Most unusual for the locale... 9.5 x 7.5 x 6.5 cm
