It is easy to get jaded about prehnite with so much available from various prolific localities, but this is a really interesting locality piece, in that it is from the Merelani Mine in Tanzania, known for its tsavorites and tanzanites, but NOT for prehnites. This is a small plate of actually rather GEMMY yellow-green prehnite, with a nice sparkle to it.
