Prehnite from Afghanistan is relatively a new find. A huge plate of pretty sea-foam green "fingers" of prehnite, from Pakistan. Prehnite covers the slab of matrix both front and back, demonstrating that it was a ridge sticking into the pocket which allowed it to be covered on both sides with a thick crust of prehnite, very well crystallized on the display face. Some of these "fingers" are up to 3.5 cm in length! A rich, showy and very impressive prehnite! This is a huge plate, and despite the size is nearly pristine and in good shape overall.
