Lapis Lazuli, whose true name is lazurite, is difficult to find in euhedral crystals. The vast majority of it is found in massive form (and often used for jewelry and carving rough). This is a 2-cm crystal with sharp faces, still embedded in the matrix. From the collection of noted California collector Charles Hansen.
