Perched aesthetically on snow white marble is a single, doubly terminated, matte lustered lazurite crystal, measuring 2.2 cm in length. Rarely do we see this species so sharp, without wear/rounding or damage. The color of the lazurite crystal is the best and most classic royal-blue which contrasts beautifully with the marble matrix. The sharp crystal has a cute dimple in the middle of it, perhaps caused by a long-removed smaller crystal growing against it. Cute!
