Ice-blue, gem-like, water-clear celestine crystals attractively fill a vug lined with smaller celestines on this fine specimen from the Sakoany Mine of Madagascar. The large crystal is 3.2 x 2.8 cm. Sakoany celestines are considered to be amongst the finest in the world and this piece is highly representative of the species and locality.
