Classic Musquiz piece with a large Celestine draped in light purple Fluorite. The translucent, snow-white Celestine measures a whopping 12.5cm in length by 5cm in width and although nicked at the top, the garland of very sharp, transparent, pale purple cubes to 2.1cm adds a refined touch to this compelling specimen. All of the Fluorites on this piece, front and back, are completely transparent and have a satiny luster attributed to the plethora of tiny growth hillocks composed of perfectly oriented miniscule cubes! The Fluorites on the top and right side front are garnished with sugary Calcite for an added touch of affectation. Large pale purple Fluorites completely cover the backside of the big Celestine crystal. There is a trace of corner impairment to only a few Fluorites on the entire piece with very minor edge wear locally. The Celestine fluoresces in both short- and long-wave UV, the Fluorite does not. An impressive piece!! I am told these came out in the 1970s but we do not see many, today.
