On a thin crust of limonite is draped a thick layer of bright, glowing, royal-blue, azurite. The crystals have aligned themselves as botryoidal spheres which average 1.5 cm across. Added to the rich hue of blue is one bit of contrast: a bright green, lustrous hemisphere of malachite, measuring 1.5 cm across. The quality and aspect of this specimen indicates that it classic material from the late 1800s and the first major production of specimens from Bisbee, much of which was sold through dealer AE Foote in Philadelphia to museums and collectors around the world. AN EXCEPTIONALLY BEAUTIFUL AND CLASSIC SMALL CAB!
