- Azurite, Malachite
- Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Mun. de Cananea, Sonora, Mexico
- Small Cabinet, 5.4 x 2.4 x 2.1 cm
This would be a very large azurite crystal from anywhere, but it is particularly hard to find from MEXICO - so you collectors of Mexican specimens might want to jump on this! The crystal is pseudomorphing to malachite in some areas, giving it the green accents. And, there are areas of blue "fire" that are so rare and desirable in azurite crystals. Look at the fine termination at one end of the crystal - as you can see, this big crystal presents a superb display face.
