This locality historically produced specimens to rival Cornwall, including some few with high luster - such as this one. These lustrous crystals of bournonite, to 1.2 cm in length, make a 3-dimensional cluster on this specimen. It is actually a beautiful miniature which displays nicely on a shelf, whereas so many of these locality pieces are important but not so bright and attractive to look at. I have had many larger pieces from this old locality, but few with such eye appeal as this one, which can hold its own with Bolivian or Cornish examples in display.
