Hambergite (Twinned)
Small Cabinet, 5.7 x 4.6 x 2.3 cm
Turakuloma Range, Pamir Mountains, Tajikistan?
Ex. Ernest Schlichter

This satiny, spectacular cluster of reticulated, twinned hambergite is quite good for the locality, illustrating interesting reticulated growth patterns more common in cerussite than in hambergite. This rare beryllium borate is uncommon from the locality, as well - not many good specimens have been found, to my knowledge. It is on tabular, off white crystals of another mineral that may have altered also to hambergite (?) .
