In this update are other classic old European association specimens out of the Rolf Wein Collection of Germany, where what is usually the "accent" mineral is instead the star. Here again, where usually the sulfur crystals get all the attention from the loclaity, here, the sulfur is a druse of microcrystals, and the pizzazz is in the large, elongated, gleaming celestites- measuring to 5 cm. They stand out strikingly from the surface of the sulfur-covered matrix, and lie across small pockets, exposing them all around. A classic, but in rarely fine form, for celestite from this locality.
