Probably the most desired species from this famous phosphate locality, these Lazulites are every bit as lustrous and deep blue as you could hope for. It is an unusually rich plate of them, too! The crystals, which range up to about .8 cm, are generously distributed along the surface of the plate, but not so much that they interfere with each other - they have excellent individual definition. On top of all that, there are numerous gemmy Siderite rhombs and possibly even some minute Augelites among the Lazulites, creating even more aesthetic appeal. An excellent specimen, classic.
