This crystal, measuring 4.25 cm in length, has outstanding luster, great classic muscovite form, and exhibits a lovely, golden color. To top it off, the matrix of massive, white, calcite nicely contrasts with the phlogopite. BEAUTIFUL example of a gem mica! These gemmy golden phlogopites are turning out to be among the world's great examples of the species. And, they are not that expensive for a 100-fold increase in quality over most previous finds of the species.
