Exceptional "cast-like" plate festooned with tiny dark royal blue spheres of Shattuckite. The 1-2 mm sized spheres are well defined and stacked one on top of another across the piece. These were initially labeled as Plancheite but x-ray has confirmed them to be Shattuckite. The underneath side consisting of a massive sky blue Shattuckite has numerous concave geometries possibly indicating this piece as a crust or "cast" off of a botryoidal mineral. The piece is in good condition with a some bruising to the tops of a number of spheres. The uniform coverage with sharp well formed balls and the consistent beautiful blue color make this specimen uncommon. An excellent crystalized specimen that is superb and very eye catching. AND, A HIGHLY RICH EXAMPLE of this otherwise rare species!
