Beautiful sharp red Hematite phantoms in a glassy transparent single Quartz crystal. The phantoms are preferential covering some faces with a dense coating of Hematite and others with only a light sprinkling. There is some contacting present around the base with faint minor nicks along some of the edges which is quite common for these pieces. A small conchoidal fracture is present, reflected in the price. The side faces have fine horizontal striations with one side accented by silvery metallic Hematite crystals. The piece is highlighted by the glassy termination faces that allow a 360 degree viewing of the outstanding Hematite phantoms.
