Large specimens of this attractive powder-blue colored species are rarely seen, even in museums. From the TYPE LOCALITY, these intense and beautiful blue botryoidal of the rare sulfate, Glaucocerinite, blanket the presentation side of this large, small-cabinet specimen. Densely-packed and with a wavy look that only serves to highlight the rich color, this is excellent material for the locality. Coveted specimens of such quality were found in the 1990-1995 time frame.
