This is a razor sharp single, textbook and stereotypic crystal of the rare species serandite, from the best pocket zone of the material ever found. It dates from the 1980s "Glory Hole" area in Mt St Hilaire, which produced best of species material now found in museums and major collections. This is the best color and a sharp, large, competition quality thumbnail from those old discoveries. Serandite of this quality is not known from anywhere else. In a display case, the rich salmon-pink color makes for a profound color impact.
