Dozens of sharp, well-formed copper crystals form this 293-gram cluster of bright metal. It is a tight cluster of unusually sharp crystals that looks very three-dimensional. The largest crystals reach over 1 cm, and the cluster has multiple pleasing display angles. The Cliff mine dates to the mid-1800s, kicking off the copper heyday of the Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan. An old specimen, for sure, most recently in the James Zigras collection.
